New Way Christian Centre
(formerly The Endz)
Achievements in 2023
Last year we started up our Monday night Bible study group which has helped to bring together a group of individuals who are committed to serving the Lord. We began the sessions in May 2023 and have delivered consistently to a group size of 5-8. We have discussed issues such as forgiveness, faith, the seven I am statements of Christ, love, trauma, healthy eating, sacrifice and who is Christ. We have also re-branded the ministry during the course of the year and it is now called New Way Christian Centre. The Endz remains the young people element of what we do.
Plans for 2024
God has provided a venue for us to rent on Sundays at Holy Name Parish Centre in Scott Arms, Great Barr and we have made plans to utilise the space every fourth Sunday of the month as a pilot for six months. His will commence on Sunday 28th April with our launch day.
After which, every fourth Sunday of the month beginning with Sunday 26th May, from 2.00pm till 4.00pm.
We will be delivering a series of interactive discussions about life’s issues and explore what God has to say on the matter through the bible, in groups which may be identified by age or gender amongst other key demographic indicators, depending on the theme of the month which we are exploring together. Before coming back together for feedback and a time of prayer.
We will also be providing a time and space online two weeks after each Sunday session, to allow people to check in and share their thoughts about the topic of the month.
The Endz youth sessions will be held online fortnightly and facilitated by some of our young people with support and guidance from some of our more experienced facilitators.

Holistic and Therapeutic Support
Through our team of support workers, we endeavour to ensure that the right support is given by the right person at the right time, in line with national guidance and safeguarding for children and vulnerable adults. Working in conjunction with organisations to help produce the best outcomes for our children and families. We offer help to aid supporting the physical, emotional and spiritual needs of children and families. Providing a safe space for children and families to identify the issues that may be affecting them and provide them with appropriate practical support, underpinned with biblical guidance.
- Interactive teaching
- Practical learning and developmental opportunities
- One to one confidential discussions, with your agreed support worker
- Therapeutic support
- Engaging in social justice campaigns
Our whole ethos is based on 5 questions which run through the essence of what God has laid on our hearts for reaching people through meaningful Christ-led relationships. All viewed through a therapeutic lens:
- Who are you?
- What has happened along your life journey to bring you here today?
- How can we help and support you through this?
- How does God see you?
- What support can we identify together, is required to help you become who God sees?
We have agreed dates for prayer and fasting leading up to the launch and we are trusting in the Lord our God for His divine direction and provision as we walk with Him on His mission. Knowing that this will be a blessing for members of the Great Bar community and beyond, by faith in Christ Jesus and would really appreciated your support in prayer. Thank you.
Yours in Christ,
Richard Daley and Jedine Pendley-Daley
